Process Technology & Catalysts
STARC, along with its partner Axens, sells process technology in petroleum hydrotreating and hydroconversion to the oil and gas sectors. Axens delivers complete basic engineering design packages, including HAZOP studies and detailed engineering reviews. STARC has been successful in selling such technologies and services to numerous refineries in Saudi Arabia.
In 2016, STARC acquired a 25% share of Axens Catalysts Arabia Ltd. (ACAL). ACAL is the only manufacturing facility for hydrotreating catalysts in Saudi Arabia.
